Satsuma has been shortlisted as a finalist in not just one, but two categories at the upcoming East Anglian Daily Times Business Awards. Our talented team have been recognised in these prestigious awards in the Rising Star and Small Business Awards categories.
The awards recognise the best companies, strategies and people that make up Suffolk’s business community. This double nomination reflects our successful journey from dynamic pandemic start-up in 2021 to thriving, multi-award-winning business, and is a tribute to the hard work of the whole Satsuma team. Their commitment and creativity has been integral in shaping the company’s success and each member plays a important role in getting results we are proud of.
Satsuma Managing Director Ellen Widdup said: “We’re delighted to be shortlisted in East Anglian Daily Times Business Awards. Being in the running for two awards is even more special, given our growth journey in recent years.
“While many businesses returned to their previous ways of working post lockdown, Satsuma continued to operate remotely. We have grown from two members of staff, into a diverse, team of people spread geographically across the UK. The beauty of Satsuma is that we take a completely remote, flexible approach, which has allowed us to attract the best talent from across the UK.”
This recognition highlights our strategic thinking, commitment to teamwork and our ability to create a significant impact on clients’ brands.
The awards don’t stop there either. Our clients Morrison Freight has been shortlisted in two categories and another client – The Hotel Folk – is also up for a biggie! We looking forward to celebrating with them on the night!
The awards ceremony takes place at Kesgrave Hall, Ipswich on 28 September 2023.
