K Foley Ltd is the brand name for 10 McDonald’s franchises based across Norfolk and the surrounding area. Kevin Foley approached Satsuma in 2022 to ask for help on several aspects of his brand – raising the reputation of K Foley Ltd through social media and PR, managing the public-facing social media output of all 10 McDonald’s branches on Facebook and Instagram, the launch of a K Foley Ltd Instagram page, the creation of a K Foley Ltd brand and creation of a website for K Foley Ltd with 10 subpages for each destination.

Our team has spent time with staff in all 10 branches, creating a database of 850 photographs and 75 case studies, and creating a calendar to link to Employee of the Month highlights, announcements of national campaigns and competitions, menu changes, offers and promotions, community engagement including Love Where You Live events and regional based news linked to the sector. 

Brand creation involved the development of a logo and collateral for K Foley Ltd that links to McDonald’s but is a standalone brand giving credence to Kevin’s ownership. 

The website was built on WordPress with a landing page that included the story of K Foley Ltd – as well as contacts and a recruitment offering with ten links to the McDonald’s branches – each bringing up a page of their own which includes opening times, contact details, social media links and a news section.


We have had a lot of success celebrating events and news from the K Foley family including coverage in the Eastern Daily Press and Norwich Evening News on long service employees, litter picks and charitable initiatives including a mercy-mission to Ukraine and the Canary Ball Rally.

Social media analytics also demonstrates a consistent rise in followers and engagement on Facebook – roughly 10% month on month across all platforms for all 10 branches. Instagram has seen a 67% increase in followers since we took over, using a series of graphic posts tying into the new K Foley brand.
